Caran d’Ache 849 is one of my favourite ballpen, and while being very affordable, can still compare with pens ten times its price.

The 849 “Original” is a limited edition of the 1969 vintage model, with a special finish looking like old raw metal.

It comes loaded with a blue ink, medium Goliath, cartridge and packed in a special aluminium box.
